I am a bilingual therapist who enjoys working alongside the Latin community. As a first-generation daughter, I personally understand the stigma surrounding mental health amongst Latin and other minority communities. We may struggle with issues surrounding our identity as well as generational issues that continue to affect us as adults. Together, we can end the generational hurt and help you push through as you become who you were always meant to be.

Como hija de primera generación, comprendo personalmente el estigma que rodea la salud mental entre las comunidades latinas y otras minorías. We are more than the events that happen to us. I take a holistic approach to therapy in which I work with you to help you understand the parts of yourself that you might not quite understand and ultimately grow into the best possible version of yourself. I work with people who have experienced childhood trauma and wish to set themselves free as adults. I also specialize working with clients who struggle with anxiety or depression.

I am passionate about working with children as they embark on a journey of self-discovery. I am skilled in play therapy and sand tray. Children do not always know how to tell us what they are feeling, play therapy can help them express themselves in a manner that makes sense to them and provides them comfortability.

Adopto un enfoque holístico de la terapia en el que trabajo contigo para ayudarte a comprender las partes de ti mismo que quizás no entiendas del todo y, en última instancia, convertirte en la mejor versión posible de ti mismo. Trabajo con personas que han experimentado traumas infantiles y desean liberarse como adultos. También me especializo en trabajar con clientes que luchan contra la ansiedad o la depresión.

Me apasiona trabajar con niños mientras se embarcan en un viaje de autodescubrimiento. Soy experta en terapia de juego y en la caja de arena. Los niños no siempre saben cómo decirnos lo que sienten, la terapia de juego puede ayudarlos a expresarse de una manera que tenga sentido para ellos y les brinde comodidad.

I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Victoria in Katy. I interned at the mental health counseling training clinic on campus during my last year in the program and worked with a variety of clients from ages 2-50. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate supervised by Jennifer Cain LPC-S, RPT-S. I am currently working towards my RPT certification (Registered Play Therapist) alongside my supervisor. I love learning and am always looking for more ways to expand my therapeutic knowledge!
